Ada Residence

Trust and Comfort in the Heart of Kağıthane

This exclusive residential project by Zengin Konut reflects our commitment to engineering discipline and the highest quality standards, offering a safe and comfortable lifestyle with a solid structure designed in accordance with earthquake realities.

Ada Residence is a modern housing project that reflects our engineering-focused approach. Standing 35 meters tall, the building not only meets technical standards but also exemplifies Zengin Konut’s commitment to the highest level of quality—offering residents a safe and secure living space. Located in the heart of Kağıthane, the project stands out with its proximity to the city center and the reliable lifestyle it provides.

Ada Residence is a meticulously planned project where no detail has been overlooked—an essential quality in a country like ours where earthquakes are a constant reality. All materials used in the project are sourced from the industry’s most reputable brands. With its structural integrity, aesthetic design, and engineering discipline, Ada Residence stands out as one of the most remarkable residential developments in the area.

Distinctive Technical Features of the Project

Bored Pile Foundation System

In our project, 49 piles with a depth of 45 meters and a diameter of 100 cm were installed according to static calculations. Each pile was socketed 7 meters into solid ground to ensure the structure achieves a high level of durability and safety.

Trimming of Bored Pile Heads

Before the construction of the raft foundation, the heads of the bored piles were cut to the same level using wire saws—without relying on traditional breaking methods—to preserve their strength. This process eliminates risks that could negatively impact the structural durability.

Drainage System

Outside the raft foundation, a three-layer drainage system spanning a total of 200 meters was installed using 200 mm diameter perforated corrugated pipes to effectively collect groundwater. This water drainage system channels the groundwater into a 120 cm diameter sump within the site, enhancing the structure’s waterproofing. This application protects the foundation from water damage and prevents decay.

Rock Fill and Geogrid Application

During the preparation phase for the raft foundation, a 150 cm thick rock fill was reinforced with a double layer of geogrid combined with a gravel-rock dust mixture to ensure maximum strength. This process enhances ground stability and reinforces the structural safety.

Blinding Concrete Application

To ensure homogeneity of the structure on the ground, a 24 cm thick lean concrete (grobeton) layer—twice the project requirement—was applied. This additional measure optimizes the interaction between the structure and the soil.

Waterproofing and Raft Foundation Application

Before the raft foundation was poured on top of the lean concrete layer, a double layer of 5.5 mm thick profiled waterproofing material was applied instead of the standard 4.5 mm insulation. This detail significantly enhances the structure’s waterproofing and insulation performance.

C40 Grade Concrete Superstructure

In the superstructure, C40 grade concrete was used and implemented based on performance-analyzed static solutions. This ensures the structure delivers top-level strength and durability. The entire building is constructed with a shear wall system that provides additional resistance against horizontal and vertical loads such as seismic forces.
